I guess because I'm never paying attention to Jill and Torgal during fights that I never knew that they could get hit. So when I saw Jill get the shyt knocked out of her I damn near fell off my couch laughing.

I may replay on the hard mode without doing these side quests. Some of this stuff is to corny for me to sit through a second time.

Yeah, and they don’t even have you go far for it to make sense. Dude be like 5 ft away and want you to give him food or something lmao.

The story is solid. Between the campaign missions when you have to head back to town and talk to these clowns is what I don't really look forward to. Mainly because the side quests are largely Ass.

I don't like the base being the launch point for the campaign

They get into some deep topic then get back to finding some ingredients. I'm tired of it. The king doesn't have time to be an errand boy. Everyone here knows magic but I'm the only one who can really get it poppin.

This is more egregious when you get to higher levels too. They be having you fight random ass bandits but the bandits are damage sponges even though you're basically a demigod

If you enjoy a fast paced no break in the action style it'll be tough.

I kept tryna implement it but I found eikonic ability doesn't mesh cuz it interrupts the action too much. But his abilities outside of that and the breath attack are actually good. Satellite increaes you dps by a lot especially if you magic burst. Impulse is an amazing move the only thing that sucks is the wind up time to cast it. Giga flare is probably the best ult damage move in the game since it requires no charging and slows time while it blasts enemies

It's probably just not for your playstyle to be honest. Bahamut is best for mage types who wanna sit back and cast spells.
Or integrate mid to long range magic into their offensive arsenal

That might be it because it felt so weird not fighting and just charging shyt.

It actually showed me my team actually does put in work because we had a good 6 enemies and they beat 5 while I was charging up.

Yeah, I’m more action paced straight hack-n-slash.

Also, don’t forget that dodging while charging gigaflare speeds it up. Activating gigaflare, lightning rod, will o wisps, and then something like wicked wheel with all that activated is wild
