Damn, so clive is gonna die on that beach?! Jill and Torgal don't deserve that, breh :mjcry:
So Clive's death leads to the birth of Edda's child?

I hate a sad ending...

Oh, so Clive revived Joshua and Joshua went on to write a book called Final Fantasy

Quick Thoughts on the game:

-Great story, i'd recommend anyone play this game. It's very well done
-Combat can get a little repetitive, but when you play a game as long as this one, that's the case. I also chose not to switch eikons. I used Garuda, Ramuh, and Phoenix the whole time lol.
-The character movement is a little slow. You can do a side mission to get a chocobo eventually that kinda makes it better
-Game is extremely long. i did all the side missions as well as fought nearly every Mark except one. I wish i could find my play-time on this game
-The Characters are well-executed and the voice work is well done. There wasn't a single character i didn't like. Even the side characters were good
-The enemies were repetitive. After a while you were just fighting the same kinda enemies. I wish there was more variety. Also it made it kinda like a Dynasty Warriors type game, where you are beating down grunt-level enemies until a big demon shows up
-The side quests were short, and kinda repetitive. But they got a little better the further you progressed in the game

I'd give it about an 8 to 8.5. I think FF7R is a little better

Welp, back to SF6. I thnk i'll pass on NG+ for now. I need a break

The people who said it was great but flawed have it right. The side quest loops were boring, though some had dope stories, and the forced slow parts after epic moments (basically the RPG elements) gave it a bit of an identity crisis.

The gameplay also could have used some expansion. As fun as the battle system was, that's all there ever was, making some areas (hidden area beneath Phoenix gate for example) drag. Also, I HATED the ending. I'm surprised to read some of you liked it.

Still, the parts that were done right was so sublime that I can't give this any lower than a 9. Extremely fun battle system that takes a bit to unlock but once you do its sick. Stunning graphics, an amazing story, top tier music. They nail all the big moments.

It's a frustrating 9 though because with tweaks it can and should be a perfect 10, but the flaws are too disruptive and blatant.

I miss it though. Quite a bit. I hope some type of DLC expansion comes that fills in gaps.

They should absolutely stick to this system and iust add more to it.

9 outta 10 for me!

I agree with all of this.

The lack of enemy variety is something that doesnt get highlighted enough.

Its probably worse than GOW2018 in this regard because none of the enemies required you to fight them in unique ways, it was just stagger + DPS until theyre dead. And its really like 5-6 enemy types that are constantly reskinned throughout the story - including for bosses.

The story being so good makes you overlook a lot of these shortcomings, but you notice it a lot more on the second playthrough.
