The game is not coming in less than a month, and now we have this fukk those fukkers in there and fukk these motherfukkers,
Kingsglaive was a dope popcorn flick. "I don't care about these people" well shyt, how much are you supposed to care about side characters in a movie *attached* to a game that isn't even released yet? Lets be reality for a second.
The plot just as good as a Jackie Chan Supercop movie and the action was just as fitting. The knight was handing out WERK and the Glaives were filthy and nasty. The fight at the end?

As a film its better than AC, which was SO dependant on the backstory that someone who never played the game would have no idea what was going on.
KG was decent, good world building most def. I really liked the concept of a refugee army, it does have me a little more hyped for the game...its really just a 2 hour FMV to be honest.
As a standalone project its weak as fukk, the voice acting sucks ass and the plot is just
at some points. BUT it wasn't a waste of time....which im happy about.

This isn't even a complete movie. It's basically a series of extended cutscenes to serve as a prologue for the game. None of the main characters are really developed. The antagonist aren't developed other than the general. The core reason for the invasion isn't even explained. The only takeaways I got from Kingsglaive was that that ring is important. Luna isn't a real person and only exist as a plot device for Noctis, and Insomnia fell which I already knew.
It had some cool looking battles but as an actual movie it's rubbish. it was at like 8% on RT where Advent Children is at like 33% which is 4 times the rating. Advent Children is entirely fanservice but it was enjoyable fanservice with beloved characters. I didn't care about any of the cast members in Kingsglaive. I can't even name most of them. When your core case is that weak it's a problem.

Looking at these new videos and pictures, it still looks like it has INCREDIBLE potential. Simply can't wait.

Major plot spoilers here. The plot is just silly.
Why did the general kill Crow? Her mission would have failed because the princess wasn't there.
Why didn't Regis give Noctis the ring before he sent him away? Nyx proved you can use the power not even wearing is as did Regis when he gave the ring to Luna and fought the general. He sent Noctis away so he could send Luna to find him with the ring he could have already given him? Regis said he knew the invasion would happen after all.
Why did Nyx fight and die for "the future" and to save the world when it wasn't even made clear what was going on? Somebody just told him were fighting for the world and he was instantly on board with no explanation needed.
Why was Lena's brother fighting for the people that killed his mother directly while fully blaming Regis who was at best indirectly responsible and actually not responsible at all?

Kingsglaive needed one more fight scene and it would a been better. I think them tryin to put the dialogue and drama over the action was a mistake. I still was not bored by it and watched it with no issues.
