Yeah. They have an explanation that leads to a senseless boss fight. Maybe they have some kind of wrap up moment towards the end. I'm on chapter 8 and can tell you that up until this point there is no real story outside of the obvious "trying to get strong enough to win back your kingdom" plot.So far nothing really is poppin story wise. The breh Noctis just walked out the hotel and caught a hoe migraine on some "ughguhwwuh"
I know more about what these dummies like to eat than I do about what is actually going on in the game.
Story won't make a lick of sense even with Kingsglaive. They just throw shyt at you and expect to understand what the fukk is going on. There's one part at the end of chapter 13 where they have huge info dumps. Make sure to keep a look out for that if you're interested enough. Music, gameplay, and graphics are pretty much what you want to play this game for. Or else you'll be hella disappointed
You can fast travel to your car or the last place you rested for free.
Chocobos are 50 gil a day and its 10 gil to fast travel to any rest area you've been to already.
Wander the streets without 50 gil in your pockets brehs.

before you move on to ch 10 make sure you do everything you need because the game gets linear from there... do some hunts try to get lv 45 if you are not burn out

to late B your should have LV more you're in the linear part of the game.. depending on how good you're you can beat the game at 37 over 45 
I haven't had the slightest bit of trouble with this game yet. That's the main reason I started to feel burned out. I like this game...but it has quite a few huge downfalls.
I understood the story but im not an idiot...

Beat the story finally chapter 13 wasnt so bad but the ending..... was garbage just gotta do the last of the post game stuff then wait till Dlc
