glad I ain't the only one confused about that guy. I'm on chapter 8. So far what I understand is noctis' father had agreed to a treaty with the enemy. It was arranged for Noctis to marry Luna. His father king Regis knew the treaty was a set up so he sent Noctis away to meet his bride to spare him from the war that was coming. The enemy won the war and took over noctis' kingdom. Now you run into a mysterious stranger who happens to be the enemy chancellor. But dude helps Noctis multiple times even though he knows who he is. He calls him prince and king. Why in the world is he helping him if his people just took over noctis' kingdom? I'm assuming there's some kind of double crossing going on but there just isn't enough story to make things clear in this game.

Completed the main story line last night. Story was half assed with no real explanations but still enjoyed the ending once I figured out what was going on. 
Time to do all of the endgame stuff now. As expected the final areas and boss were extremely easy due to being OP.

You can fast travel to your car or the last place you rested for free. Chocobos are 50 gil a day and its 10 gil to fast travel to any rest area you've been to already.
Wander the streets without 50 gil in your pockets brehs.
Has anyone seen the Kings Glaive movie.

I haven't seen it. But I was acutally going to post in here that you are suppose to see the movie since I saw you and another persons post in here being confused about shyt. But yeah movie explains shyt and characters and my bro, who had watched the movie told me that there are some differences between the game and the movie

I watched it. it's just some of the backstory of that stuff that happens while you and the gang were out, pretty much up to CHP 2. I don't feel like it's a replacement or good alternative for the lack of story.
I guess I will continue to wander the world oblivious to what is actually going on then. Lack of story aside the game really is mad fun.
the movie was alright so i guess you can watch it. i
t wasn't much imo but it just shows HOW Noctis' father was merked and the events around that.
