I just downloaded the Valeria patch and started to replay it again. This and Tactics Ogre are the most replayable Strategy RPGs ever.
They need to re-release it on the Nintendo Switch, and make online multiplayer. And instead of a maximum of 5 units in your party in a battle, it should be 8-10. And every bracket should be based on the same 10 level range (for example, everyone participating in that tournament who party is roughly level 25, only should face people at level 20-30. Nothing more.)
Now THAT would be insanity. Imagine a Coli League or tournament against each other?

Kinda frustrating to watch cause its AI, but it shows it's definitely possible

archers are broken af in tactics ogre, ruins Half the game for me. Having an archer in your squad is like getting Orlandu in your party earlier on

But a 4 way battle with chocobos, Orlandu, and others would be out of this world madness. 40 characters on screen, doing all kinds of fukkery?
check dude channel. He has a bunch of them. Folks would pick teams and he'd run them.
