That's that shyt that I miss in pokemon

Made the game harder having to grind specific chars for certain gyms. In FF6 in particular it's inconsequential, you'll just use certain chars less.

My FF6 party is always terra, celes, sabin, locke when available
I'm just gonna go in the settings and blow out the exp and grind the people behind to an even level. At least they added that.

I been using that party but Edgar instead of Locke for his tools attacks. The brothers can nuke all the regular enemies pretty quick with group attacks.

okay so I finished FF3 now. it gets points for introducing the job system but story wise was a major step back from 2. its almost as if squaresoft said, "lets remake ff1, but with jobs". id even go as far to say its the weakest of the NES trilogy. now this is my 3rd play of the game after the bootleg emulation and the 3d ds remake, but it kinda sucks, influence be damned. I know 2 gets a lot of shyt for its level up system yet 2 tried hard to distinguish itself from its predecessor while this one did a rehash of the first game but with one new gimmick(jobs).

onto 4 which I already played the SNES,GBA, and DS 3d remake versions.

I like it
I like it a lot so far.
Man how the fukk did I miss out on this. :mjtf:
I mean I tried it on my pc as a kid on that snes9x emulator like all my other snes games(finished a bunch on it like Chrono Trigger the first time) I remember at one point I thought it was FF3 but it was named like that
I remember doing the intro battles with the snail looking boss then seeing the esper and waking up and then just never touched it.

I vow to play this game and finish it :wow:

IMO the GOAT FF game. I'm sure it would take a decade but square needs to give it the same treatment as the FF7 remake.

I agree. Final Fantasy II was ambitious as fukk for a game made in the 80s.

Class system in Dragon Quest III was more refined.

Almost 30 years later and you can STILL see how high budget this game was for its time. Easy to see how final fantasy went from this to FF7 to what it is today.

And yeah…that ending theme :banderas:

No way they ever remake this game at this scale
