It's not flopping and made money, but not enough to satisfy their greedy asses and shareholders.

Can’t really say what it made though. Whatever they made on it was clearly not what they wanted. They’ve been very tight-lipped about what Rebirth has sold and were way more open about what Remake did.

It would have done better if it was on PC day 1. I hope whatever Sony paid them to only have it released on PS consoles day 1 was worth it but with the statements they’ve been making in public I doubt it.

This series doesn’t quite carry the same prestige it used to and needs every advantage it can get including unified releases worldwide on multiple platforms. If you look at Metaphor Atlus recognized that and Sega says going forward that’s their plans for the next Persona game.
