The last episode was annoying as hell.

It was basically Nucky just tweaking the whole time and forgetting what the fukk he's talking about or who he's talking to mixed in with a ringing sound that's going off in his head.

:comeon:

This was supposed be a sort of Mulligan for Nucky while he recovers from his concussion. There were a lot of subliminals going on, plus he basically declared war on Masseria and Gyp and is trying to rally soldiers.

:wtf:

I didn't make the thread moron. It's 7 pages of people shytting on this season.

And :dead: at you playing the race card while stanning "Boardwalk Empire", a show with a 99% all white cast set during an era when black people were still considered sub-human. I bet you'd be right at home on the show. :youngsabo:

Fred.

:dead: at my nikka Fred being unable to criticize any show without BB coming up.

Best believe I'm gonna play the Breaking Bad card if you come into a Game of Thrones or Mad Men thread talking all that mess. :youngsabo:

I know all that. I'm just not a fan of those kind of scenes personally.

this season has been really dry

thought this would be a show for the ages, but they stray too damn much. they need to get things going for the 2nd half of this season or people are going to lose interest

not even that thrilled to check for next season after this horrible one....season 2 was so piff man

Jimmy vs. Nucky was so personal it was a great season, i think this is a bridge season...every show has one i mean even The Wire had season 2.

its still a great show to me, its still written awesomely, its still wonderful acting from majority of the cast, its still masterful costume design. Its just not season 2.

I don't watch shows for individual seasons, i watch for the overall narrative.

Its like the dry chapters in between the best parts of a book, yeah those chapters are better, but without them it makes the rest of the book disjointed and frankly not have as much potency.

The narrative could still be there without it dragging along like this. This season main downfall is Margaret motherfukkin Schroder/Thompson :rudy::rudy:

Don't forget the random flash backs to Alvin every 2 minutes :snoop:

Though i don't think this season is as bad as others, i do hope they pick up things a little in the last three episodes and give us a dynamic season next year. With more of Capone and his exploits and more of Chalky.

I didn't know how they was gonna keep the show interesting with Jimmy gone, but they did it again.

We are learning so much about this era and mobsters, show is gloomy most of the time, just like how the 20's were. Guys want to see shootouts, this did not happen a lot in 1924. You had a lot of cold wars during that period, a lot of rivals that hated each other guts.

There will be blood. :smugdraper:
