@The Bilingual Gringo where you at potna?

You got no rap for this issue?

What's your thoughts on everything thats happening?

What you think black people in this country should do about everything thats taking place?

Really? :heh:

I didn't know that I was supposed to comment on this issue, but since you're intrigued I'll entertain and give you the run down of my thoughts.

- I do find it the overall media bias against black people fukked up. I started following this story on The Coli from the first page, and noting the whole notion of "man" versus "teen", the supposed physical altercation of the side, and just the aspect that media as a whole looks down on the black community is fukked up.

- It's sad to me, Michael Brown wanted to move on with his life and become an adult like most anyone would. My father buried people for 40 years of his life, and he always said to me that the hardest funerals that he would ever handle were ones when there was an older child involved. I feel for Michael's family because you raised a child to practically being an adult and even were going to see him go to the next stage in life, and then he's gone. All because of some fukked up, racist, hot-head ass cop.

- I think it's pretty amazing that social media is being used in such a manner to bring light not only to the situation specifically but the overall tensions that exist (quietly or publicly) between black communities and the white majority. People in general turn a blind eye to these types of things, I think this "Post Racial America" thing is pretty beat overall and something white people cooked up to make themselves feel better. White people are good at glossing over things, for better or for worse.

- I cannot speak for what black people should or shouldn't do with everything that's taking place. I respect people protesting (publicly/politically or even in a confrontational manner). Ironically enough, that's pretty much the most American thing that anyone can do. I think they're on the correct path in doing so as the squeaky wheel gets the grease can apply in a situation like this.

You know what I can't get over? Cops weren't half this strapped during the Occupy wall street protest, and they had over 10x the people.

Guess because they knew white people ain't throwing trash cans threw windows unless their sports team loses.
because they knew that protest was nothing more then a smoke and mirrors ploy.
