I get what you're saying but by doing that we're giving power to the police. Why should someone have to comply for fear of their lives? That sounds like a police state to me, something we're not.

I get what you're saying, but if they weren't impeding traffic, the cop shouldn't have came at them like he did and escalate the situation by running on them and trying to pull him into his car.
Multiple accounts of that now and the official police account can't even explain away the shooting that happened down the street away from the car. Son was executed. There's a reason for rage and those accountable are the same people tasked with quelling that rage and people wonder why it's not working? Especially when they come in with military force to protect their own asses? This situation is so fukked up. The more this spreads and the more people see the fallacy at the core of this injustice and the misguided response to those reacting to that injustice, the more we can change.
Props to Coli crew for running w/ this from the jump, but now look how much more attention came in one night w/ the journalists being arrested and cams on the scene. Keep it going, build upon this, keep making more aware and keep making these events impossible to ignore and maybe we can kick some lasting change in gear.

Right, I'm not excusing the faggit ass pigs for killin dude...but at the end of the day u pick ya battles wisely.
The pigs were more than likely dead wrong and looking for trouble when they pulled up on Mike Brown, but as a black man (even as young as 17) you have to know that even the slightest drama can lead to a bullet in your ass when u dealing with police, cacs, or even ya own people.
Yeah, the racial aspect of this shyt sucks since blacks never get justice...but my personal moral from all of this will be more of a reminder to how fast small disagreements can result in u getting ya life snatched. A lot of times it ain't even worth it, just keep it in motion and don't feed into the negative shyt like we are taught to do when things get heated. Keep a cool head and more often than not the other person is gonna look like a fool.
