I really don't want to sound pessimistic but man I'm tired of hearing so many people talk about what we need to do.

Is anyone going to actually do something about this shyt?

And here's the thing that's the worst part........they're killing our WOMEN AND CHILDREN!!! Not just grown black men.....but our women and our children are being beat up, assaulted and killed in front of us.

I don't care what anybody says, when others can come into your house and antagonize, brutalize and assassinate your woman and your child, then there is nothing left. Nothing left to intellectualize. Nothing left to pray about. Nothing left to debate about. Nothing left to hem and haw about. When women and children are being used for target practice, it's that bad.

Group economics and group protection are priorities right now....period. They always have been, but at several times in US history, blacks have been able to turn a blind eye and act like "n#gga we made it."

Just another example of US society changing guard on how it relates to the black population. We need to stop allowing people, black or non-black, to taint the dialogue with "what about black on black crime" or "not all cops are bad" or "we need to work on ourselves before we say anything about whites." The time for buck dancing, burying our heads and wringing our hand is over.....same for marching, praying and protesting.

Blacks need to start to take these as signs of what's to come. These incidents have been coming back to back to back lately....I don't take that as coincidence. When Obama became president, I was happy for the image of having a black man in the most powerful position in the world. I believed it was good for the overall psyche of black people, but in terms of society, I feared it would give whites a level of carte blanche so to speak. Along the lines of "well, we have a black president, so all that racism stuff goes out the door." Well, not only has that happened but it's being taken beyond that on some real life "Purge" type sh#t going on out here.

Blacks need to be very practical about their moves right now. Beyond the typical black business and group economics thing, which is crucial, I believe we may need to start doing some more everyday things as well. Like starting to store up on supplies, forming ongoing, organized neighborhood watches with surveillance and arming themselves. All that "trade in your gun for money" campaigns held by the cops are mad suspect....especially with the current climate. People need to be strapping up right now.
