I've been listening to Tariq's ustreams he had lately
And I 100% agree about building a black economic base just them asians do

I think there's many others who agree as well but are stuck at exactly "how"
I was talking with my homeboys last night about all of this
and they said it seems like it would be impossible to try and change the mindset of black people
to: buy from only each other and only support black businesses (or try to), get off government assistance, really help each other etc. etc.

But I agree. When you have you OWN shyt and a community working together like the asians...

We would be unstoppable!

Downtown there's an asian village where all the asian shops and homes are
Nice people and when I go down there you can feel and tell that they are ONE unit
It's a peaceful little community, all helping each other and shyt

So, I'm just trying to figure out how one would even begin to make this happen...

/rant
bruh it starts with the individual.
Its not about what everybody should do...its about what you can do.

The reason why there are so many asian people w/ small businesses is because nobody would hire them back in the day.
So they created their own jobs.

Thats what black folks need to do.
We are too dependent on the governments tit.

I've always wanted to start a business where I would hire inner city black youth (or even adults)
and start a handyman type business where we would go out and shovel snow, rake, mow grass, pick up trash, paint etc. etc.
and also offer resources for them to start their own biz etc.
That would give them money so they don't have to do illegal shyt or rely on the system
:manny:

I think I'mma do it
