First off he could've body slammed the store clerk, that's irrelevant to his interaction with Darren Wilson.

What makes you think he attacked the officer? There is zero eye witnesses for that, and even if you could argue he rushed Darren Wilson, there's an autopsy that says he died with his hands up.
