This whole Ferguson situation is probably one of the worst violations of Constitutional Rights in this country for a long time. For a President who for many years has been unfairly accused of not caring about the Constitution, he could at least do something about these tanks, heavily armed forces, and military weapons being sent to areas of peaceful protest.

to be somewhat fair, President's normally avoid interfering directly with other state's local Guards and police force unless directly (backed up by the courts) in the clear, the only times we have seen National guard directly federalized was in the 50's and 60's when Southern governors directly refused to follow desegregation orders and the Dems clearly haven't given Obama nearly as long of a leash as Eisenhower and Johnson had back in the day
