That's because America is a white country. So of course white people aren't gonna criticize other whites.

But then again. I don't even remember GW bush getting this much flack...and he pretty much messed up America in 8 years with problems that will probably take a century to fix.

If blacks sat out for a presidential election cycle, and made it CLEAR that we were doing so because the democrats no longer have Black Civil Rights as a major part of their parties platform, you can bet your ass that we will see this discussion work it's way up into the house, senate, and presidential conversation.

Hell, if we started organizing RIGHT NOW and sent a message to Clinton, Warren, Biden, ETC that they are NOT getting our support in 2016 unless they plan on making civil rights legislation a major part of their presidency...you would see this being debated seriously amongst the mainstream democrats. Hilary would take her ass to Ferguson right now if she thought it was important to her being elected president.

I'm very disappointed that we have not already done this. Remember, many of the major players in all of this (Nixon, Jeff Roorda, Bob McCracker, the mayor of the city, police officials, city officials, etc) are democrats. That's una-fukking-ceptable. We give this party 90 percent of our vote and they should *at least* actually be concerned about the state of our community. Instead, many of them are working WITHIN the system to oppress us. It's disgusting. And we are pathetic for being loyal to them.

Remember...we are at the BOTTOM of the totem pole, we are mostly at the whim of the countries directions. The economy goes up a bit, blacks might gain a little, but as soon as it dips again, we are the first ones hurt. We need to change that.

Things like Climate change, animal rights, immigration, stem cell research...all the other liberal/progressive tree-hugging issues....don't mean shyt to us. I'm mean, I'm mostly a progressive, but black rights are paramount and it's obvious that we need to be concerned about the general state of OUR community before we look towards these pet-issues.The republicans can run the country into the ground...but if BLACKS were able to make gains while everyone else fell...that would be more than fine by me. We've been through 100 years of slavery, 100 years of Jim Crow, and 50 years of institutional racism, oppression, and marginalization. We can take 8 more years of a Republican president, that isn't going to be that much more different from a dem any damn ways.

Obama. Bush, Clinton, Reagan, etc.. none of them don't have/had no kinda real power.. only a fool believes that..
