Georgia teen’s autopsy reveals organs were removed: He was stuffed with newspaper

On January 11, 2013, Kendrick Johnson, 17, was found dead rolled up in a wrestling mat at his high school in Valdosta, Ga. An athlete, Johnson was found dead in an upright athletic mat behind the bleachers in the school’s gym on January 11, 2013.

The first autopsy performed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) on the teen revealed he died from “positional asphyxia” and his death was ruled an accident. A second autopsy was performed by a private pathologist, Dr. Bill Anderson, at the request of his parents, Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson, who believe their beloved son was murdered revealed something more horrible. His organs – brains, heart and lungs – were missing and replaced with balls of crumpled newspaper.

His parents, Kenneth and Jacquelyn Johnson, didn’t take this ruling and walk away. They deem it foul play and are demanding officials at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Ga. turn over the surveillance video. His father believed his son was murdered and requested the case is reopened. There are photos and video that provide evidence that there is more that happened on this fateful day than school authorities are willing to admit. Not far from the body, there was a pair of red stained shoes and a sweatshirt, that authorities claim was not blood therefore they weren’t bagged and tagged.

Both the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), which conducted the autopsy and ruled that he died from “positional asphyxia”, stand by their findings that the boy died accidentally.

his family said kendrick kept his nails kinda long but when they finally got to see his body after it was sent away for autopsy his nails were cut

they said the clothes he was wearing that day was never given to them.....and his body was sent to the funeral home with a pair of broken earphones....


those clothes and his nails would of held DNA of someone else like his killer......

Lowndes County Coroner Bill Watson said many of Johnson's organs were deemed too badly decomposed to be preserved and had to be disposed of before the body was sent to the funeral home.

According to Sherry Lang a spokesperson for the corner office, she says Kendrick's organs where removed for autopsy and placed back into his body before being released to the funeral home. The funeral home is saying the organs were disposed of in a natural process before they received Kendrick's body, but how would they know this?

I believe the organs were removed because the condition of the organs would prove he was beaten.

I keep telling people, we need to make sure we are in the positions of powers in the cities we live in. The coroner, just like the DA is either an elected or appointed position. Cac law enforcement isn't going to do shyt for us, so if we live in cities where we are the majority, we need to have us in all of the positions of power, including the coroners.

According to sources, "It was brought to Winningham's attention [by students] that Johnson had been in an altercation on a school bus during a football game," with Chris Martin.

Chris Martin had also fought Kendrick Johnson a second time---and lost a second time. He is a minor. So the detectives then approached his father, Sam Martin who is a FBI agent, for permission to interview him. He refused to have his son interviewed by the sheriff's detectives, instead referring them to his attorney.

That night, Clark, Chris's older brother – also a minor at the time – tweeted this threatening missive.

"Who ever [sic] is talking all that !! about my little brother, they better watch where they step!"

As previously reported here, Det. John Marion followed up two weeks later on January 31, and got permission from either Sam Martin or his wife Susan to interview Clark and Chris. The police reports that EBONY.com has access to are redacted, so it is not clear which parent gave their permission.

"Clark Martin stated that he was in the twelfth grade and had second block gym. Clark stated he did not know Kendrick Johnson, and did not speak to him. Clark also stated that during his second block gym on January 10, 2013, he was in the weight room," it says in the police report.

Clark Martin did know Johnson because he knew that he and his brother fought twice. Clark, however, did not account for his time during the fourth block, when Johnson went into the old gym for the final time.

Chris Martin had been present during his brother's interview and listening carefully. He then volunteered the following information to the detectives.

"He [Chris] stated that he was in the tenth grade and had previously been in third block gym with Kendrick Johnson last semester."

He said nothing about the f!ghts the two boys had, nor what Beau Webster had discovered during his investigation, that he and Johnson had prior animus going back at least two years. Even more telling, Chris Martin clearly implied that he was not, then, in any cla##es with Johnson. So how could he tweet on January 14, "Sitting in my first block looking at the chair KJ used to sit in."
