"Black rage is founded on two-thirds a person

Rapings and beatings and suffering that worsens

Black human packages tied up with strings

Black rage can come from this kinds of things

Squeezed economics, subsistence survival,

Deafening silence and social control

Black Rage is founded on wounds on the soul”

Update: Two Months Since #MikeBrown Was Murdered, Things Are Still Crazy in #Ferguson

Yesterday marked two months since 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot a killed by officer Darren Wilson on August 9 and not much has changed since then. The St. Louis suburb is still making headlines with protests, conflicts, and reports of political cover ups. Things are getting tenser each day, and the cry for justice is no wear near finished. Check out a brief rundown of the latests updates.

Yet Another Unarmed Black Teen was Killed This Week by St. Louis Police

So apparently a sandwich can be mistaken for a gun now, and an off-duty St. Louis police officer used this as an excuse to shoot yet another black unarmed teen in St. Louis last night, 18-year-old Vonderrit Myers Jr. Details are still coming in, but according to ABCNews:

Wednesday’s shooting happened at about 7:30 p.m. in the city’s Shaw Neighborhood, and involved an officer working a department-approved secondary job for a private security company, Police Chief Sam Dotson said at an early-morning news conference.

The officer approached a group of men. One of the men took off running, Dotson said, so the officer pursued. Dotson said the suspect approached the officer in an “aggressive” manner, with a physical altercation occurring. The man then turned and fired three rounds at the officer before his gun jammed, Dotson said.

The officer, who was not injured, returned fire, shooting 17 times and fatally wounding the man, Dotson said.

… and they wonder why protestors are still going strong – unbelievable. I can’t even begin to wrap my head around this- 16 times! There’s no excuse. It’s like cops have declared open season on young black men, RIP to yet another.

Politicians and Police Officials are Still Being Shady

Last month journalist Shaun King exposed heavy revelations on the shady activity that has been going on in with Ferguson officials, and now more reports of cover-ups and mishandling are being brought out. The grand jury is now under investigation due to a juror violating secrecy guidelines by disclosing information on the case to a friend who posted details about the case on social media.

Darren Wilson Testified Before a Grand Jury, But Still No Charges

In the midst of all the outcry from Ferguson protestors and Michael Brown’s family,Darren Wilson has remained a free man since he killed Brown. He was called to testify before a grand jury in September and gave his version of the story for four hours. The jury has until January to decide whether to press charges, and this is a big part of the reason protestors are still going strong.

Police are Preparing for Riots

Even though they have until January, the grand jury is expected to make a decision on Darren Wilson next month. Police are worried that riots may break out if he’s not charged. For the most part protestors have been peaceful and we already saw how militant the police got when demonstrations first started, so if they get any more turnt up it’s only a recipe for more confrontations and violence.

At this point I think we’ve yet to see the worst of the Michael Brown aftermath.

All facts

police first said Vonderrit jumped out from some bushes and charged the officer, then they changed the story to say that he was standing on a hill and was shooting downward at the officer, and then it changed yet again to claim they were in a gangway (space between houses) and Vonderrit was on the ground shooting up at the officer.

This only happened 2 days ago, and the police have already released misleading information. It appears that they are trying to create a narrative to fit the evidence, just as they've been doing in the Mike Brown shooting.

The Shaw neighborhood, like the City of Ferguson, is not a high crime area. They don't have gangbangers and drug dealers hanging out on the corners. These boys were being profiled for walking while black.
