BUT, those were BIG THINGS. Before that we had NOTHING! When I hear the stories older people tell, it's like a horror movie. People getting killed, and the police don't do anything, artists can perform for whites but can't even stay at the same hotels or even enter through the same areas. I could go on and on but you get what I'm saying. Again, I don't like it but sometimes you have to get violent with people who are not listening to you. Look at the la riots it was fukked up but it helped changed how the police do things. They still need more done BUT, it still made them better then they were and that is what change is about, a slow process. Nothing happens overnight. La riots, as well as the washington heights riots in nyc around the same time caused the police to hold off on being extra hard dikkheads.pause.
Yeah, those cities will take measure to prevent themselves getting hurt but they can't prevent the city getting fukked up. There is nothing out there that can prevent that, and that cost money to rebuild what was tore down.
