Ferguson protesters say they weren't served at brewery

Some of the protesters who still camp out in Ferguson to protest the police shooting of Michael Brown say they staged a sit-in at a local brewery Thursday night after initially being told to leave.

A group of about 10 protesters went to Ferguson Brewing Company on South Florissant Road about 9 p.m. Thursday to eat, said Natasha Gray, who was standing with a small group of protesters on South Florissant Friday afternoon. “They just said no, no, no, no,” said Gray.

The group left, but returned later with more protesters. Orlando Brown said he was among the second group, which numbered about 25. They sat down to see if they would be served, and they were, Brown said. But he and Gray both said they didn’t order any food. “Who’s going to eat there after they told us no first?” Brown said. “Your first reaction is your true reaction.”

The two also said Ferguson Police showed up near the restaurant to watch the group.

Cosplaying While Black?


So I decide to read more on the kid with the toy samurai sword they gun down. Darrien Hunt

Not to mention from witness’s accounts says he never raised the toy sword or confronted anybody.
