Shame they can't eat them, whole pig roasted on a spit

One of my relatives cooked it for the fourth of july one year when I was a kid and it was absolutely incredible, that crispy skin, the moist meat, nikka you didn't even need no sauce but that vinegar based BBQ sauce brought it to a whole new level.

Imagine getting herpes from eating a pig, and then having to explain that to your wife/gf.
She would never believe you.



Not being able to eat these pigs makes this problem a thousand times worse.
People are not going to go out of their way to kill them because they will then be left with a heavy rotting corpse.

The government has to hire the best crews from around the world and pay a ransom to basically save the island.

Cooking kills pathogens. I don’t get how you can’t eat them if they are cooked properly. Do they not trust people to cook them properly???

The problem started about five years ago after people began buying the pigs as pets without knowing they would grow to weigh 250 pounds or more.

but you can get a lot of shyt from eating wild creatures... I used to have an OG that showed me how to inspect a kill before preparing it for food, this type of shyt should be common knowledge.... how many people even inspect their produce? modern humans are pretty useless when it comes to survival

if you've never have to feel and touch your fruits and veggies or inspect cuts of meat then you are most def eating modified food. the only way shyt is as perfect as it is in stores is a lot of drugs and pesticides. out in the wild tho shyt is no joke, gotta know what/how to eat

you just discovered something nobody ever though about. I wonder why they kill off all those sick animals when infections spread over populations. it should just be a free bbq









you can get infected just doing the meal prep/ handling the meat

why risk that? you will have to touch blood and bodily fluids on a kill at some point if you tryna prep it, skin it etc...
