Explain this to me...

Assumptions that all internal conflicts on the continent stem from european colonialism.

Assumptions that all current divisions in Africa are the result of european colonialism.

Assumptions that there is ANY feature that unites all people of the African continent(not even getting to those descended of ppl from there) which is unique to the continent and not shared among non africans.

Just a few off the top of my head I can think of.

You think people don’t know they’re black in Nigeria? Funny post:mjlol:

I posted TWO instances of a Nigerian AND a Somali speaking for THEMSELVES!

Are you really trying to sit here and speak FOR THEM? Are you Nigerian or Somali? I'm sure they're most qualified to speak on their own culture and experiences.

And no ppl in Nigeria by and large do not self identify as black just like in the rest of Africa, save for South Africa where black identity is still only political and takes a back seat socially/culturally to their tribal identities(ie Zulu, Xhosa, Khoisan).

I'm sorry but I miss the days of when white folks was just noisy to black affairs when it comes down to hip hop and sports. Now these motherfukkers pulling anecdotes out of their asses that has nothing to do with their progression other than annoying ours with opinions they know nothing about :camby:
Nah sir white people have always been in our business it just now with social media outlets we see them much more than before .

Internal conflict is apart of Human nature including that of the European. Europeans have been beefing for thousands of years if you check their history, English Irish/Celts, Romans English, Germans/English and so on.. it’s the same thing with Asia and basically anywhere humanity is formed, there will be conflict, there will be friction and that point is actually inevitable.

What is true also is Europeans played on this internal conflict between Africans and used it to further drive a wedge and infiltrate groups of peoples for their monetary gain, both points can be true at the same time, they did this also under the umbrella of Pan Europeanism splitting up and dividing pets of Africa at their will.

Something that is still pertinent today if you observe how France England and the USA link up with each other to destabilise whole regions for their personal and financial benefits.

Themselves not 200 m people, if Nigerians didn’t have a concept of black then why do they call white people ‘oyinbos’ what you’re saying actually doesn’t make sense and It don’t really matter how many individual cases of Afric00ns you bring up.

If you’re saying black takes a back seat to Yoruba Igbo or Akan then you might have a better point, but that point isn’t unique to Africans either, if you lived with just black people and didn’t have the obvious influence of 100 m cacs many people also would bring their regional identity up before their race, but of course they know they are Black or African which in their case is the same thing...

Point is that internal conflicts existed in Africa long before european colonialism and Africa was NEVER united as a whole BEFORE european colonialism. Attempts to do such are a RESULT of european colonalism ironically, not in spite of it.

Furthermore you can't compare "pan europeanism" which is actually WAY more natural and organic than pan africanism given the much smaller size and homogeneity of europe and it's people. THEY do actually have many uniting characteristics. ie Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian culture, also similar genetic make up.

Not at all the same for Africans many of whom share more with non-Africans in just about every aspect than africans from other parts of the continent.

how she thought isn't a one-off. Seem multiple articles like this. And a bunch of them africans on the Grapevine saying the same shyt.

They are fools or c00ns who probably couldn’t speak their own language.. You’re using recent examples of c00ns but these are the same people who titled Malcolm X ‘Omowale’... I don’t think Nigerians are the smartest with race relations but I don’t think they’re that stupid to not understand the concept of race, and the similarities between themselves and the people in Jamaica and the differences between themselves and the white people in England, a kid could understand this concept it doesn’t take much nuance.

What do Ghanaians for example call themselves and why?:mjpls:
