So not even willing to acknowledge it was a straw man; again not surprising.

Coaches want to win. They know that having their players in the best physical condition helps achieve that goal. If their players are used to weight training to prepare for competition and are complaining they would try to improve the facilities at a neutral site to the best of his abilities.

I’m not even criticizing her going to tiktok, I only said I hope she also complained to her program. Don’t see why that’s so controversial.
lol strawman whatever.... the whole "trust the process" shyt does not apply in college sports anywhere. if you ain't got real leverage and genuine support from either the AD directly or the alumni, you cannot expect success with going against the grain

you think coaches don't get their jobs threatened for asking for better facilities? i played college ball. shyt ain't like what espn tellin you it is

can't believe people actually mad about folk leveraging social media to accomplish or bring attention to shyt either :dead:

Above the fray.
White folks feel the same way when we tweet about police brutality and systematic racism...they don’t give a fukk.

just because this situation doesn’t effect you doesn’t mean you can’t be sympathetic to the issue.

.
I've spent 0 minutes of my life wondering whether random white people are sympathetic about the issues of police brutality or systemic racism.

I don't think the women are playing in Indianapolis.
So what she’s crying over? Did she travel to a different venue to prove her point?

I went to an HCBU as an undergrad, and Power 1 program as a graduate student. The weight room facilities were on a a compete level. But it was understood because one school brought in more money than the other school and what you were looking at was a reflection of that. Men’s college basketball makes money... women’s college basketball loses money. That should explain her issue.

I don’t want to sound sexist or anything... but all of this shouldn’t matter anyway since basketball players don’t typically work out during tournament play anyway.

Thats terrible. But the ultimate issue is that womens ball isnt a profitable sport for most schools. For most schools mens ball and football are the ones that make the money they use to fund the other sports including womens ball. It will never be equal until people start watching a ton more womens ball
the NCAA has enough money to rent equipment for them to train properly while at their tournament. shyt, many schools still aint got kids on campus, move equipment from those gyms. yall try too hard with this women's sports dont make money thing when it comes to things like this which are a minimal expenditure. aint nobody saying build them a special arena to play at complete with 5-star hotels, just give them some real fukking training equipment

You'd have a point if Title IX didn't exist. But it does. NCAA isnt allowed to discriminate based on the fact they play women's college basketball by law, they have to provide adequate workout equipment. The fact that an HBCU isn't able to provide adequate equipment to the men or women isn't right, but it isn't illegal either.
