Man they have presented their babyfaces in a way that makes them seem lame. They had Sami coming off as a dumbass and Cody wimping out.not to mention you have either loved or respected characters opposing them with Cena, Rollins, Breaker, and Heyman. Im not saying everybody gotta be Stone cold but you don't have to make them lame either.

This a new era, the changes will happen slowly as he does more heel shyt. As of right now from Seth’s POV he did nothing wrong, so he hasn’t change from his pov. I think the way they are telling stories now are more gray area than black and white. We don’t need Seth to cut a your people promo we just need him to continue doing people the way he did Sami and eventually the crowd will see him as a heel.

Wrestling fans, like almost every other person, follow trends. Look at the American crowds now doing the European chant of “Cody… Cody Rhoooodes” or any other wrestler. You can’t just “slowly” turn on him after he took out top babyfaces and got cheered. :mjlol:

Theres other ways to make him a heel, but Trips couldn’t give him a gimmick change or new song? Even Austin changed his theme when he went heel.

I don't think it's a terrible sign yet. There's still plenty of casuals and families buying tickets and there has to be especially given the ticket price increases for a lot of events.

You'll know shyt has changed if more events have slower ticket sales and you start seeing the fat white men with beards outnumbering the normal looking families

It's not sustainable. Some of those idiots have money or save enough money to go to shows but if you plan on filling stadiums then you need the casuals and families to be locked into what is seemingly a "hot ticket".. and they have been for the last couple years.

It'll be interesting to see what they got lined up for the Summer. The Bloodline Saga is almost unfair to compare, it's one of those once in a lifetime runs. Cena should definitely help keep things rolling pretty well on whatever dates he has left,

The rest will have to be people coming out for Punk, Rollins/Bron/Heyman, Cody etc.. it's their WWE now.

That "One More Time" shyt been happening for years in all promotions. You can't go around spamming your trademark moves and not expect the crowd to get hype. The Becky turn on Lyra for example. All she did was clothesline and some mount punches and she was getting decent heat. Then she goes back into the ring and it's game over. Keeps going back and now getting cheered. By the time she left for real she was getting Becky chants.

It's all a psychology thing. Let your turns be the shocking moment, not that you hit a buncha moves. For beatdowns, just beat him down. Ground and pound. Use a chair, or a table. Bron is doing insane looking spears around the ring, of course he gonna get cheered. Anytime you pause your offence, and go again, the fans are gonna start to want it again. Do one relentless attack, one finisher maximum. Then just let it breathe to next week.

One spear, ground and pound until referee stoppage. Seth can hit his curb stop and grab some heat too. That's all you needed.

It’s the AEW fans that left in 2019 making their return.
So you’re telling me they’ve come back to haunt us :mjcry:

WWE Divas were subjected to a string of sexually suggestive chants at the Raw taping in San Jose the night after WrestleMania. Paige, AJ Lee and Naomi were taking on Natalya and The Bella Twins. During the match, the crowd chanted "You suck Cena" at Nikki Bella. They followed up with "You suck Bryan" at Brie Bella, "You suck Tyson" at Natalya, and "You suck Uso" at Naomi. There were also reports that some fans chanted "You suck Punk" at AJ Lee.

Trips did nothing for Seth by keeping him the same. He’s still out here dressed like shyt and from what I heard still using the same song. You wanna make him heel, change his character. He shoulda came out in a regular suit and shyt on the fans.
Not that I disagree about Seth needing something to freshen it up, but I don't really agree with the idea that heels have to hate the fans or not enjoy being cheered or shouldn't do exciting things. A heel doesn't have to be some horrible figure who hates everyone and just wants to do evil for the lulz, they just have to be willing to break the rules to win. I don't think a heel has to be an antagonist to the fans as much as their opponents.

After Cena's heel turn, I wish heels would focus less on the crowd
