Feels like WWE crowds have turned smarky overnight

I feel like the smarks come out when the booking starts to go down hill. Happened in AEW.

Eh a little bit of A and B. Even when the booking is questionable, the majority will shut down a smark in a instant. Remember when some dudes were trying to get a CM Punk chant going at a WWE event, and the crowd drowned them out?

Its more on the booker stance and the direction of the company that is responsible for the fandom. And yes, the booking being trash can be a issue as well lol. Word to the WWE in the Vince in 2010s era.

Exactly they don’t even try to be heels no more. Heels would need to have boring low risk un flashy finishers like submissions to be effective. They would have to wear boring dark colors. Stop doing 100 interviews where they tell their life story and get emotional.
A good heel is a guy like Gunther who isn’t online and doesn’t try to fit in. He is no frills and will always get boos because he isn’t scared of it.
Everyone else wants to have a catchphrase tons of merch roles outside the company and everything else. The business has changed so much and if you keep looking it from the old territory days lens it will pass you by

Ok to you point in every long successful marriage the honeymoon period ends and life gets in the way and you start noticing things etc. but that doesn’t mean the marriage will not have good periods where more memories are made. It doesn’t mean the e marriage won’t find its new rhythm. This doesn’t seem like a marriage heading to failure it just means we have to enjoy the good to great moments when they happen and ignore the rest

Imo the product is as good as it’s been in years. I have multiple friends who hasn’t watched since cena was a rookie come back and are hooked again. I have another new friend who just started watching.

I don't think it's a smark takeover, but more so fans just being drawn towards the heel. The street profits and Lashley's heel turn didn't go as planned, for this very reason. It's nothing different from what we've been seeing for years tbh. They chanted one more time when Seth got tsunami. Booed Bayley when she feuded with Alexa. Rock n hogan at mania 18.

Sami has been a bit boring for awhile. Of course they'll cheer for Seth over him. Sometimes the heels are simply more intriguing than the faces

This a new era, the changes will happen slowly as he does more heel shyt. As of right now from Seth’s POV he did nothing wrong, so he hasn’t change from his pov. I think the way they are telling stories now are more gray area than black and white. We don’t need Seth to cut a your people promo we just need him to continue doing people the way he did Sami and eventually the crowd will see him as a heel.
