Feeling abandoned by Black People , Dr Umar hires CACs to finish his "School"

Umar is being misleading af.

Black people donated tons of money to Umar over the years and make up the vast majority of his attendees of his speaking conferences where he also makes money.

Umar has no school accreditation, no list of teachers/faculty/staff, no safety measures, no curriculum, had his initial non-profit status for the school revoked, etc.

Umar should honestly be glad that he has been financially supported as much as he has because there were zero signs that the school was in proper shape to actually be run in a functional manner.

And he never backed away from his proposal to CHARGE for the admission into his school. So, even if your child does get accepted, you STILL have to pay. And the types of parents and single moms Umar was trying to appeal to generally can't afford a fee like that.

But watch conscious brehs who never even followed the whole school fiasco or delve into his record blindly agree with Umar and repeat the "crabs in the bucket" narrative with no full context.

In the ten years nikkas have been following and mocking this dude(rightfully so) has anyone provided an alternative? We have the energy to point, laugh and look for anything wrong with what another man does, but i never see anyone put the effort in actually providing any legit alternatives.

You do know there’s been several independent schools opened since he started this. Ja Rule just opened a school in Ghana.

The alternative is to use the community for a community project he could be the frontman/ fundraiser but also have serious people helping him like maybe a budget guy and a project manager a good lawyer etc.

Not to mention the guy said there won't be accreditation so good luck finding acceptance to a high school or University after graduation.

Finally he could’ve crawled before he walked maybe start an after school program that wouldn’t need a building ( at least not an owned one) wouldn’t need as many teachers or much overhead but nah plan a Prek to High school boarding school with all the necessary imputs out the gate with zero class room time.

I'm not an Umar apologist by no means, but in NYC you can see public school buildings that have scaffolding on them for 30 years. PS94 in my old hood, was being renovated since 2003, the scaffolding just came off last year. Another school a few blocks away, took about 10 years to open and that's with the building already built! It was an old police precinct during the 50s and 60s (magnificent architecture) and it still took DOE 10 years to convert it to school.

and this is NYC DOE, which has billions $$$ at its disposal.

Umar is one man. Even if it took him 20 years to open the school, that would be impressive.

I am in Wilmington every three months for the past two years

I have driven past his school it looks WORSE each time I go past it. It is an absolute shyt hole. It is DEEP in the trenches.

That’s how I know it’s a scam. He will have had the school for 5 years this upcoming Feb. I have seen the school multiple times over the past 2 years. There is ZERO progress. It looks more dilapidated each time I see it. There is actually negative progress.

The problem is he’s One Man. If a whole department has delays in opening why wouldn’t he?

Additionally if everything else was in place ( which it isn’t) why not start in rented buildings? That way the school could be open even if the building isn’t finished.

Finally you think Umar is coming off the road to administer the school? Dude is wilding he openly posts himself hugged up with thots. He gets money some sighseeing in and trout.

Again it’s low key amazing that he hasn’t had another conscious stripper scandal.


He does have some chubby single mothers confront him at his lectures but they’re escorted out before they say anything too crazy.
