Granholm 10-15 years ago was more "conventionally attractive" than Whitmer is now, especially from the white male point of view (blonde hair, blue eyes) ... so there should have been more resentment towards her than Whitmer from these types of dudes

I been hearing they hate her more than Granholm and I don't know why.

It has more to do with the times than anything. Granholm was governor in the 2000s, things just weren't the way there are in the Trump era.

If Granholm was governor now, and Trump mentioned her on Twitter regularly, they would probably hate her just as much.
