They won’t risk Virginia by gutting most jobs there but I def believe they will target jobs black people often do and ship them further south or to the Midwest for white conservatives.

It’s so much worse now. Construction and all the other companies that did RTO. You pretty much have to leave your office by 2:00 to beat the rush.
It got to a point where if I wasn’t in the car by 3:00 leaving then I would just stay until 6:30 and take that time off later in the week. shyt is annoying.
And this is why DOGE was formed.
Elon and Vivek probably aren't well versed on Federal contracting if they think labor will give you huge cost savings. These Federal contract companies are known for skimping on headcount and salaries. The minute a Federal contractor makes too much money they'll fire you for someone cheaper. Job security was non-existent on most contracts for years.

What's going to be funny is if they do all this DOGE stuff by Trump still deficit spends to help the economy. These clowns are trying to wreck the shop not restore some magical fiscal discipline neither side has had since Clinton.
I think it's all for show because this new DOGE agency doesn't have any real power. Even when the Feds cut spending during Obama all they did was cut headcount and move money around. The only savings I could see was contractors salaries went down. But the price of those contracts didn't.

Traffic is bad in the DMV since I moved. Depending where I’m working. Taking 295 in the mornings to get into the city is always bad. 495S coming back to Alexandria. Gets bad around 3. It never fails. Hell I was working last night coming back on 495 Sunday 330 pm traffic.

66 westbound was standstill at 4PM yesterday which is crazy. I don't miss taking 495 to get back to Annandale. Without fail, if you were on at 530AM, I could pull up to the Pentagon at 545-550AM. Leave at 531AM, I get there maybe at 620-630AM
