You seem to think this is a justification for violating the constitution?

What does a night of looting in NYC in early June have to do with federal agents illegally arresting and attacking people Portland?

There's nothing to address. Nothing is happening here that warrants federal agents policing NYC.

:heh:
you're the one who deflected to NYC, not me. this thread was about portland and the fact that it's in its 55th day of a riot :dead:

you know what, fukk it. let portland burn :yeshrug: fukk do i care. should work out excellent for the people who live there

The article is from early June. There are no stores being vandalized currently. I’m not understanding how this warrants federal agents on the street. What are they supposed to do? And how do they help?
sounded like a deterrent to me :yeshrug:

No. You brought up NYC and keep repeating yourself on it you dumb b*stard. I responded.

can they go in if they wear badges?

big bird is gonna have his hands out to washington within a month for the money to clean this up, and theyre gonna laugh in his face. correct? so maybe trying to curb some of this damage isnt the worst thing they can do?

like NYC and minneapolis are doing, and portland will obviously be doing shortly

Lmao. It’s not a deterrent. How much does the NYPD Or similar cost per year? Now you want to add federal agents? Which is more money and a waste of resources. The states have been asking for assistance for the pandemic but were met with resistance. States did not ask for agents but are being forced to deal with them. But not surprised with this chit show of an administration

I’m confident you’re trolling.

no, i'm just wrong and you guys are all correct. what's happening in portland is awesome for the community and doesnt need any intervention. a 55-day riot is nothing to worry about

But after weeks of nightly standoffs, Portland’s protests calmed in late June, with fewer major confrontations with police. A judge ordered local police on June 9 to largely halt the use of tear gas, and that order was expanded to include other munitions on June 26. A new state law further limited tear gas to be used only during riots. The crowds shrank. Music and barbecues in a park across the street from the federal courthouse became a nightly event.

Then, federal officers showed up in the city in early July and the demonstrations grew more heated than ever.

anyone surprised by this :unimpressed:
