I never understood why TLR hates FD Signifier so much.

He says some of the realest shyt about the things that Black men go through from the negative stereotypes to economic struggles to politics and other factors. And it's backed up by extensive research.

He's even technically a #BothSides guy who claimed that the DNC isn't socialist enough to fulfill things for Black people as far as tangibles goes even though he thinks the GOP is more evil and oppressive.

This is another thing I took issue with especially with respect to his critiques around Farrakhan and the NOI, although, I do find some of his critiques valid.

I do not agree with the NOI's "dogma" and I have posted my critiques of the NOI and Malcolm X on here before. But that's beside the point. What I cannot deny is that Farrakhan and the NOI has improved the lives of countless black men and women across the country.

Does that not count for something?

It's like what are we supposed to do? Wait around another 400 years until FD and his ilk can convince this country deeply embedded in capitalism, through force or otherwise, to adopt socialism?

Now, what I would agree with is his questioning why Farrakhan and the NOI are the face of black militancy over people like Kwame Toure. I would absolutely agree with that.

He did mention the NOI has done good with putting money into the community. In a way, it's an example of socialism on a smaller scale. His issue was with Farrakhan himself
