It's counterintuitive, one of the most 'militant' men I came up under as a young adult was a religious conservative. He was my boss and owned a small business, we pretty much debated politics/economics every day, but he still gave me an opportunity and had my best interest at heart. Dudes like FD and @karim are more divisive than any Black conservative itt (most of them are only after upward mobility for Black people), literally calling brothers 'c00ns' over disagreeing with a youtube video.

Thanks.

This is another thing I took issue with especially with respect to his critiques around Farrakhan and the NOI, although, I do find some of his critiques valid.

I do not agree with the NOI's "dogma" and I have posted my critiques of the NOI and Malcolm X on here before. But that's beside the point. What I cannot deny is that Farrakhan and the NOI has improved the lives of countless black men and women across the country.

Does that not count for something?

It's like what are we supposed to do? Wait around another 400 years until FD and his ilk can convince this country deeply embedded in capitalism, through force or otherwise, to adopt socialism?

It's not practical.

Now, what I would agree with is his questioning why Farrakhan and the NOI are the face of black militancy over people like Kwame Toure. I would absolutely agree with that.

I disagree that most Black people are conservative, and you can't gauge what's better for Black people politically by looking cacs in any situation. Of course they reacted that way.
I didn't mean most black people are flat out conservative Republicans. But most of us lean conservative on particular issues like LGBT, immigration, and religion.

Overall I feel like most black people fall into the category of social democrat, which is basically a Republican to people like fd signifier.

You said "most black people are conservative to a degree" :skip:
Do you understand what "to a degree" means?

Are you saying black people aren't anti immigration, anti homosexuallity, and pro religion? Because those are all conservative values.

he appeals to emotionalism
One of my biggest problems with him.

The longer you listen, the more his arguments fail under scrutiny.

He'll lump all manosphere channels under one, not understanding that there are levels to it and not every channel is on the same "rah rah women are the enemy" BS.
I feel like this guy came outta no where.

He makes valid points but omg how many of these channels are there

It's a whole genre now :mjlol:

He just reminds me of those MSNBC negroes they trot out to run their mouth about the laundry list of issues black people face and then.. suggest we handle said issues by not doing anything directly. It like what Claude Anderson said when he was trying to making programs to help black peolpe, it couldn't be too black. if it's too black you gotta water it down and add this group or that to weaken it. Black folks are tired of that shyt. And he's all intersectional to the nth power, wearing all these different hats. Its like yeah, good luck with that I guess.

No because you didn't define it

"To a degree" could be a small degree. Could be a large degree. You thought you were making a point, but you really said a lot of nothing.

And again you're making assumptions. Where's the evidence?

Cause "pro-religion". What does this mean? It could mean someone who is religious and biased towards their religion or it could be someone irreligious but supports freedom of religion

But really this is all a smokescreen. Stances on sexuality or religion have nothing to do with the core of conservatism. There are conservatives that are pro same sex marriage and atheist.

What people like you do is conflate things go get away with talking about what conservatism actually is. Cause if we talked about that, there would be no way to justify the myth of black people being conservative by nature :unimpressed:
