This is another thing I took issue with especially with respect to his critiques around Farrakhan and the NOI, although, I do find some of his critiques valid.
I do not agree with the NOI's "dogma" and I have posted my critiques of the NOI and Malcolm X on here before. But that's beside the point. What I cannot deny is that Farrakhan and the NOI has improved the lives of countless black men and women across the country.
Does that not count for something?
It's like what are we supposed to do? Wait around another 400 years until FD and his ilk can convince this country deeply embedded in capitalism, through force or otherwise, to adopt socialism?

Now, what I would agree with is his questioning why Farrakhan and the NOI are the face of black militancy over people like Kwame Toure. I would absolutely agree with that.

I didn't mean most black people are flat out conservative Republicans. But most of us lean conservative on particular issues like LGBT, immigration, and religion.
Overall I feel like most black people fall into the category of social democrat, which is basically a Republican to people like fd signifier.

The longer you listen, the more his arguments fail under scrutiny.

Cause "pro-religion". What does this mean? It could mean someone who is religious and biased towards their religion or it could be someone irreligious but supports freedom of religion
But really this is all a smokescreen. Stances on sexuality or religion have nothing to do with the core of conservatism. There are conservatives that are pro same sex marriage and atheist.
What people like you do is conflate things go get away with talking about what conservatism actually is. Cause if we talked about that, there would be no way to justify the myth of black people being conservative by nature
