FBI did they same thing with the looters. People thought shyt was sweet after a month of no arrests. Then the indictments started raining down left and right. As of now the main issue should be capital police who gave them a rockstar welcome
You are forgetting this is D.C. not fresno....They have facial recognition tech and all kind of assets fused in that area....Once you start stepping foot around the key infrastructures they got you. It's a fusion cell sitting somewhere who likely has footage and the ability to identify every last one of these terrorist....
I'll raise you one better change the personnel participating to a foreign enemy and you would of saw all king of personnel and weapons systems amass fast as hell...And you already know they had tipoffs that something like this was planned. They let them do this much.

or them sitting through hours of video (that they will probably do at some point anyway) trying to identify thousands of people one by one with secret facial recognition software that “supposedly” every FBI agent has access too...

Looking at the recorded imagery of them actively conducting crimes while armed on federal property. Conducted the fusion analysis and tie them in with their names...That's the case....Once they call in with tips or we bring some in we roll up even more involved....But conducting the analysis with the tools they have at hand.....Every individual fed doesn't have or need to use that. They have fusion cells full of staff that specialize in stuff like this some of which is even contracted out.
The actual agent comes in after the analysis is done and the key players are identified to further investigate. The fusion cell is staffed 24-7 with analyst who do this day in and day out and coordinate cross agency.
But no it's not that in depth. I'm just saying they don't "need" help....If they want them they will get them and they likely were already monitoring some of them either actively or passively.
