The point is to show that they're a criminal enterprise and there's a pattern of illegal activity. Some of them are shooters, some move drugs, some move guns, some scam but it's all done under the umbrella of their organization.

All these things they're linking him to are to prove he's an active gang member and participated in, witnessed, or was aware of crimes. It's not to necessarily charge him for those specific crimes.

There's no wiggle room for him to say he's not affiliated or he was unaware of what everyone else was doing.
