This is simple, yall. The Feds took over the state case (Louisiana) from last September, the one where he was arrested with 16 people and a grip of guns...
This is commonplace, states will call on the FBI to take cases where a)they believe the Feds have a greater chance of securing a conviction, or b)where they expressly believe federal laws were broken...especially in the case of people who keep getting off of state charges...
The potential federal tie-in was instigated once it was noted that some of the guns were stolen from outta state...
I dont know if they had enough drugs to be charged, but I'm pretty sure they're gonna be hit with RICO and gun possession and trafficking hits. He got a record so whatever he's hit with, he's looking at some time...
I mentioned before I caught a state charge (North Carolina) in '14, that they tapped an inquiry to Charlotte FBI when they thought I was tied to something in Georgia, but it didn't stick. Never was federally charged but for months I knew they were trying it...

When I got arrested on September 2, 2010, I was coming off the wildest summer I had. I sat in an interrogation room for like 8 hours before I was charged, maybe more, and when it was a breaking and entering (that came because I picked up some guys stealing studio equipment), it was the best news I could get. Coulda been sent away for a long, long time and they took drugs from my car that I didn't get charged for, I thought it was over...
Thats when I was his age, 21. I didn't have some of his same actions or points of view, but the level of recklessness was similar. He gotta sit down and hopefully this helps dude. This was the earliest point of me having a reality check to wake up and grow up...
