Ya know what, lemme apologize. I got aunts who’s lost their sons to this gang shyt. And while I do think it’s a parents job to steer their kids in the right direction that’s easier said than done.

But that said, i probably wouldn't trust her to raise my kids and expect them to turn out alright. Her record aint all that good, one son is okay maybe he didn't listen, two ok maybe she just unlucky, three means i start wondering if its how they was raised.
if you want it bad enough you can move. its all in your willpower. what they probably grew up in poverty and public housing? you can be poor anywhere. put in for a voucher in another state, pack your shyt and leave that place behind if you feel its too dangerous. as you said, you wouldnt trust her to raise your kids. I lived in a bad neighborhood and I had 3 kids and I was determined to move them to a better place and I did it. I am not saying its easy, but you have to want it. a lot of these people talk about how bad it is in their city but they really dont want to leave for whatever reason.
