as a cali resident i gotta say i prefer the way things were before legalization. a lot of these "official" weed companies have nice looking product but I swear the high isn't the same. Like the weed is 3D printed or grown in China or some shyt. Before it seemed like it was easier to find a dope spot with fire buds and drop 45$ for an eighth of fire, 55 for 5 grams. Now it's a headache just trying to find spots that don't tax or sell mid

i've smoked some nice shyt, but the best i've smoked was probably the real sour d. it was years ago and i haven't had it since. i don't even believe real sour exists anymore, unless it's being held really tight by those who ain't trying to let it out.
alotta of the weed going around under premium names today ain't what they're saying it is. white boys hoarded all the best strains for years and only passed it around amongst themselves, and now alotta those strains have been lost. kinda understandable when weed was illegal everywhere and you were depending on having certain exclusive strains to make money, but nowadays it doesn't make sense to be hoarding shyt.
sour d, tk, headband, train wreck, the santa cruz blue dream - alotta those clone only strains. there's a dude out in humboldt named kevin jodrey who runs a nursery and he's made it his mission to try to collect all these cuts and get em out into the public.
i've been smoking for a long ass time, and i've found there's just as much greed, pettiness, ego, arrogance, lying and thievery in marijuana as there is in anything else, and that was kinda surprising to me
