Been listening to Kells, and loving his music, since the early 90's and I believe TP2 is his best album. Straight fire throughout.

Had the sensual songs...Down Low, Step Into My Room, Baby Baby Baby
Had the Hip-Hop club songs...Hump Bounce, You Remind Me of My Jeep, Happy (joint with Biggie)
Had the soulful/religious sounding songs....The Sermon, Religous Love, Trade in My Life
His most well balanced album. I wish he still made grown man music like this. The older he gets, the more he continues to regress as a song writer.

The self titled one was his best and his most balanced. Theres literally not a bad song on there, except maybe the third song. And none of the songs were at an extreme.
Born Into The 90s has great singles but the rest of the album was redundant New Jack Swing filler.
12 Play is a classic album, but the sexual shyt was kind of redundant, but then again it kind of works.
R. is a great album, a song for every emotion, but had filler. As every two disc album has

man i can't choose- i'll get bashed but i always thought r.kelly is the best musician of my generation as far as composing music- writing, production, arrangements etc as a whole package. he can write a song about anything and make it sound good. i'm 32 but i do think his recent work is hit or miss but the talent is undeniable. not even gonna go into all the people he laced with fire besides himself.
i been to 2 of his concerts and they were hands down the best live music events i ever been to and i have seen a bunch of great artists live. amazing when you consider dude can't read music like that at all.
