Sizzla - Be I Strong (1999)

Without a doubt, a personal hardcore favorite Sizzla album of mine. Especially the second half. Id love this in live version. I had a cut of 'Mi King' he did live which was insane.

Grew up on 70/80s reggae, heavier more dub influenced style. The Gladiators,Burning Black, Jah Pickney,Burning Spear,The Itals, The Marrons,Aswad(UK),Steel Pulse(UK), Israel Vibration. More bass heavy and the best frequency to light up something nice to.A personal classic for me is Trenchtown Mix Up by The Gladiators. If youlike that deep, dubby style, this is where you start. If you want to go OD on the instrumental dub riddims check out the African Dub series(Joe Gibbs),lots of horns and echo chambers.

There was so much more diversity in music back in the 1990s
