I remember when the Late Big Kap was Fat Man Scoop’s mentor in the game. I watched it first hand being around Kap and Scoop showing up at his crib on the Ave. They were extremely close up until Kap’s early passing.

Waking up this morning to hear of Scoop’s passing just made things feel that much darker to me. Whether it’s Kap, Scoop, Cee….. so much loss as of late from individuals who defined our sound….our moment in time in Hip Hop.
