nikka what artistically is dope about this album. Just cuz u a simple Simon ass nikka and ur entertained by this old school sounding boring trite don't mean it's good.
These nikkas sound like 04 rappers trying to keep up with the times.
Is this record Ready to DIe? Is it Reasonable Doubt? Aquemini? Run the Jewels?

You could Plug French in on any of these songs and it's the same album.
NOTHING UNIQUE OR ICONIC ABOUT THIS RECORD.
I challenge you to tell me what makes this record any different from any generic "we get money and rock Louie Vuitton" music out now.
At the age they at it's young nggas doing this way better. With more swag.
They could have done better. They trend chasing.

I didn't say it was anything ground breaking or none of that. If I needed for albums to unique and iconic to be entertained I wouldn't be able to listen to nothin. How you call this album generic and trend chasing but call future album epic like it's not the same chit as he been doing just over different beats.

This was just aight, maybe because the hottest tracks already been out - all the way up, cookin, money showers - that beat on warning was dope, remy sounded nice on it, and I can even forgive great value rihanna, but joe struggled on it. I also fukk with how can I forget minus the "make a trap hook" starter kit sounding chorus. So yea, probably only two "new" songs from this that I'll be adding to a couple playlists.

Album's alright. Production is solid. Joey did his thing. I just can't fukk with Remy Ma though. She at all times sounds like she's either .003 seconds behind or in front of the beat. I'd bet money she writes her verses in silence to no music and then just "makes it fit"

Bro fukk you talking bout? I was watching Breakfast Club the other day and was like daaaammmnnn, Joe and Remy still knockin "All The Way Up" had a Hove feature on the remix!! And they got the budget to push an album as an "Independent "..even if they go brick they'll cover their budget not to mention club appearances etc...I saw Joe in a Phantom in Midtown and theres no way hes going backwards..I don't think you get it, Remy appeals to strictly the Bronx and raps only one way - the fact she needs Joe to make an album is embarrassing. His reputation in Hip-Hop is poison and bad luck, I can name a few that probably tolerate being associated with him.
Nicki on the other hand has worked with a vast majority of her NY influences and has ran it since her underground buzz days.
Her come-up wasn't being in a Rap group like TS, she had to be a solo artist as Queens doesn't support females like Bronx or Brooklyn does.
If we had a list of females from this decade from the East Coast who got the respect of current GOAT's, there's her, Bank$ fizzled out and that's it. Additionally, no other chicks from New York are headlining any tours, festival spots, selling out arenas, etc.
The only time nikkas remembered Remy having bars was her being in jail, she dropped one album the Coli doesn't even talk about for good reason. Now instead of restarting a solo career for a fresh start, she's trying to repeat what she did last time.
As for "respect" is vague, this is New York we're talking about where everybody changes their tune depending who they're discussing. I damn sure know she's respected more than Fat Joe's snake ass, and Remy barely has a fanbase herself. She has casual fans that get check out for her titties and weak ass subliminals.
