Biggie was killed AFTER Joe got Pun. Pun was on Fat Joe records just a year after Biggie released RTD.
I know, that's why I said '92-'95. I still have Jealous Ones Envy on OG cassette & CD. That's the theorectical window that Joe would've been wanting to do a whole album with Biggie...from '92 with them both getting a foot in the game, up to '95 before Joe had Pun. He was so focused on establishing Pun as the top rapper, I don't see him tryna do collabo albums with anyone other than Pun after that time.

That's what i'm talking about. The stories fat joe telling really occurred, but he's always exaggerating/lying in the stories. For example, I've attended many hip hop shows and hung out with a lot of hip hop stars. Now, I went to Gang Starr show in 99. Big Shug, Hannibal Stax, Afu Ra, Freddie Foxx were all there with them. I talked to everyone except Primo who never came out of the back after the show was over. Now, if I tell the story like:

"I was kicking it with Gang Starr, Freddie Foxx, Afu Ra and all of them with 20 bytches backstage and 40 nikkas came in starting a fight. We had a fight our way out of the club and after that, I joined the tour with them.."

That's the shyt Fat Joe does. He takes real events and sprinkles that Hollywood magic on it. When he was telling that Mike Tyson story on ESPN, he told the same to Mike when he had him on his Podcast. Mike never said, "I remember that", he just played along not to embarrass Joe on his own platform. Now I truly believe Mike was at the Tunnel with Joe and Pun, but I don't believe Tyson had a 100 security guards on lock hahaha.

It's hood street talk, especially back then. 20 dudes means you had about 5, 50 with you is around 15, and when they say 100, it's 20ish. It's always been like that. I don't count that as lying, just the way anyone tells old war stories. Everyone in the game tells stories like that...and everyone in the hood.

Whereas Rick Ross is just kind of an actor playing a role, Fat Joe is official as they come in terms of rap artists...he's just a master embellisher. If he says him and Biggie were working on an album, what probably happened is he bumped into Biggie at a club and was like yoooo, I'm the puerto rican you, everybody say that, we need to get a record in together or sumn. And then Big was like yeah yeah, no doubt, take my number, lets get in the studio bruh...mostly out of respect for Joe's street affiliations and having no real plans to actually do the song for real, lol.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
Big always threw his little bytch azz lugs and his his hands. Especially Long Kiss song. That was one of the most cowardly moves in HipHop ever.
Why? Because Bishop was screaming and crying on every other track about what he was gonna do to this person and that person? Big didn't want to do that, he saw how corny and desperate it was.

They could've just been in the studio together just vibing, with the intention of recording together, but never finished anything. That happens all of the time. Over time, we've seen pics of hundreds of studio sessions and never heard tracks from the artists.

Thread is the definition of "you want it to be one way...."

I mean....first page got people posting an old ass G-Unit mixtape like it's 2003 or some shyt. :camby:

Does Joe exaggerate? Yes.

Does he lie? I'd say no. There's too many instances of people verifying his stories or in some cases giving him props for shyt he never even revealed.

I guess this is the part where people claim I'm a Joe stan which is :mjlol: because I doubt I have 20 posts about him since the site opened.

Fred.

Right? Hell. Someone ON HERE Verified how real Joe was, when talking bout crack era NY. And When I asked guys from Brooklyn an Bronx bout hip hop an who's who (I'm from LDN), they all mentioned Joe as being as hip hop (or "real") as it gets.

Fat Joe is an incredible story teller, he might exaggerate a lil bit or sound like but the craziest part is that is actually true.

real question is would you trust fat Joe?
