If you like indie sci-fi flicks then I would watch it but don't expect crazy fights and superhero shyt. I think there's only one set piece in the whole movie and it's in the 3rd act

I liked it a lot. If you like traditional sci-fi that might be a little slow-paced I highly recommend it.

this should have received way more media looks than it did 
It’s on my radar now though. I’m supporting it.

Just watched. As others have said, the 2nd act was a bit slow but the finale was absolute fire.

Finally got around to seeing this, Gugu is the prototype 
Movie plays more like a family drama with some superpowers mixed in. I thought all 3 main actresses did a good job, and I agree it sets up further developments that the Amazon series could address, if it comes to fruition. Don't know if they would be able to get Gugu to come back for the show though.
