the worst thing about F&F is how huge Vin Diesel thinks he is, both literally and figuratively. Dude puts one of these out, people flock, and then he starts acting like he's gonna springboard that into another Witch Hunter, or dogshyt movie he makes. Vin Diesel is not the draw of these movies, but he certainly thinks he is.

Tyrese and the rest of the cast have every right to be pissed.
Rock has operated like a snake.
He owes his career resurgence to fast and the furious. He couldn't buy a hit before fast five unless you slapped the named Disney on it and aimed the filmed at kids.
He comes in,decides to throw dirt on the rest of the cast publicly and had the nerve to talk about professionalism while doing it
He goes behind Vin's back and uses film budget money to shoot a stinger for a spin off film of his own. Wouldn't surprise me if the real reason rock went public was because Vin nixed that scene.
The franchise was well established and everybody seemed close knit and then rock is basically causing a huge public fight for his own personal gain.
And people defend it and ignore how much of a snake he is being because it's a popularity contest.
Rock is basically acting like game in the g unit drama.
Hollywood hasn't run out of ideas, the general public are just morons who don't want new ideas. i know you might, and i might, but the vast majority, especially the global folks don't.

Rock would argue he helped make the franchise what its become. He had hit movies before the franchise and has had them after. It’s mutually beneficial for both parties homie. Don’t forget before fast five he made journey 2 a hit lol.
I’m not saying he’s not being a diva tho. That’s what he’s doing and what he’s been known to do at times but two wrongs don’t make a right at all

Journey 2 was a sequel to an already successful film. He didn't make it a hit,the first film already was a hit.
Fast five was another sequel to an already successful franchise.
His attempts at being a star like rundown,faster,snitch,walking tall,doom all resulted in box office bombs. His only success was kids films and since last five he's been attaching himself to sequels and already established franchises/brands with the exception of San Andreas, a disaster film which is the surest bet in Hollywood.
Rundown wasn’t a blob neither was scorpion king. All the other stuff I’ll give you. But he wouldn’t pull these moves if there wasn’t an understanding with the other producers not named vin and with universal that he has the leeway to do it. And the reason he has the leeway is because they see him as bigger than the franchise. Doesn’t mean your points aren’t valid but ultimately it doesn’t matter what you and I think because we don’t sign the checks. The check writer’s opinion is the only one that matters and they’re saying he’s the “franchise viagra” he says he is. Like I said before that doesn’t mean it’s fair but it’s business
