Maybe they can now finally make that rumored trade about the FF movie rights for the X-Men tv-show that Fox wanted to make.

Fox might as well cut a Spider-Man deal, or we get this exact same scenario when the next 'panic before the rights revert' version hits the cinemas.

shyt - Marvel might even start the comic back up again if they get some creative control back. :ehh:

Producer Simon Kinberg on Plans for a ‘Fantastic Four’ Sequel

Steve Weintraub recently spoke to writer-producer Simon Kinberg for Logan and asked if there’s any chance of seeing an alternate cut of Fantastic Four:

KINBERG: I don’t know the answer to that in terms of whether or not fans will ever see it. I think B-roll is probably the place where they will see it. And for us, it’s in the past in the sense of lessons learned and we would love to make another Fantastic Four movie. We really believe in that cast, and I think the lessons that we learned would help us make a more consistent movie than we did the first time.

That leads to the question of whether or not Fox has to keep making Fantastic Four movies in order to hold on to the rights. Kinberg replied:

KINBERG: I have no idea. I think the truth is we would not make another Fantastic Four movie until it was ready to be made. One of the lessons we learned on that movie is that we want to make sure we get it 100% right, because we will not get another chance with the fans.

Is the time frame actually 7 years? Regardless I think somethings already happening/happened under the table. Spite is a crazy reason to not make money only for the rights to go back and still make nothing. F4 aside I knoooow Marvel wants some of those Galactic properties. Phase 4 is going to hold some surprises.

Nobody gives a shyt about the franchise at this point.

The original was meh at best and the reboot was a disaster.

Fox needs to count its loses and move on or at least do what Sony did. Marvel could at least resurrect the brand.

I think the FF characters will eventually get shoe horned into the MCU. There's simply no demand for them right now.
