This!! He acting like Oscar/Awards Season doesn't exist.

he clearly aint bout this movie life

Real talk brehs, I ain't. I go to the flicks like twice a year at the most. Most of this sh!t is just mind numbingly bad. This year, I'll probably check for Straight Outta Compton, Black Mass, and Beasts of No Nation. I just don't get the comic book sh!t though. The older I get the more I think it's best to keep those ideas in comics. How people can sit through a Ninja Turtles, or Transformers (huge fan of the old school cartoon and IDW's Gen 1 comics), GI Joe, and the rest of what passes for entertainment is beyond me. I don't want to sound elitist either, but those films don't make your heads hurt? Abysmal acting, terrible character adaptations, never remotely true to their comic book origins, and plenty of explosions and CG to help you forget about how bad the script is and why any self respecting actor would never get involved with that crap to begin with. Ohh, I forgot, the money is why those same actors to it. Still, it's just bad entertainment. I can understand numbing out for a moment, but the fanboysim is bizarre to me.

Not to mention the progressive aspects. A Black

The Unapproachable East
Josh Trank screwed Josh Trank.

Trank didn't lose the Star Wars job because he did a fantastic job here. People need to consider why Fox would interfere.

His initial cut of the movie was not well received, necessitating the lengthy and extensive reshoots.

Chronicles writer has stated his believe that Josh naively thought he was going to get total freedom with this film the same way he had free reign with Chronicle, even though Chronicle was small budget indie flick, and F4 is a big budget, big studio made flick. He naively did not expected it being very different.

Word is coming out that Trank isn't wholly responsible for Chronicle's success either, and the film had to be changed because his direction/writing was sort of a mess itself.

Dude has one film that was well received for being "original", and it gassed up his head and put him on a high speed hype train. Just one film. His only film. Doesn't preclude him from potentially being a fluke or one-hit wonder.

He spent time insulting fans over the net instead of focusing on this movie.

Word on the street is that a new EW article pretty much confirms his poor, unprofessional behavior on set.

He screwed himself for good when stupidly made this tweet and destroyed what future he might of had in his industry:

You sound elitist as fukk..

You're really baffled as to why people would rather spend money on movies with nice CGI effects and filled with action? :dahell:

:patrice: I don't know if I buy this. Kate Mara is a reconzineable Hollywood actress & I'm supposed to believe NOBODY cared to meet with her.

She's not recognizable. If it wasn't for House of Cards I would of never known of her til now.

:yeshrug: I've never watched an episode of "House of Cards", but I know her from a bunch of Movies & TV shows.

i still can't believe anyone had hopes for this at all. with all the rumors, and the 9 trailers that showed the exact same shytty looking scenes, what could you have possibly expected.

only thing that has changed in my mind is that i think Trank got dikked over, instead of vice versa. dude might come out as the good guy in the end.

He's not necessarily wrong. Some of these movies are just bad.
