This is what i don't get...... People are just glorified heroin users. It's like people love to make jokes about cracks babies and call other people fiends, but have they looked in the mirror???

Of course heroin has been around for years and we are always going to have fiends, but they were always looked down upon. Syrup isn't too far removed from heroin. Nowadays it seems like being a fiend is celebrated....

When I first finished college, I did a little independent research on the type of stories in the press where people were identified as "rappers," especially incorrectly. For example, when R. Kelly was peeing on teens, he was "rapper R. Kelly" ... but when he was selling his zillion dollar condo, he was "R&B Crooner R. Kelly."

Like I said, I was out of school, so I never did a paper or anything on this (I was a freelance writer at the time, so I considered doing a story on it ... but the amount of work vs. how much the story would have paid made me ).

Obviously, it was work I should have done. Or someone should still do.
