I really don't understand Bethesda. The fans have clearly told them what they want for a Fallout game and yet they ignore it and are trying to turn Fallout into an action adventure game instead of keeping it an RPG like the majority of the fans want it to be.

They should have just let Obsidian handle Fallout and focus on Elder Scrolls.

To make matters worse we know this isn't gonna flop so they might make even more weedplates like this basura :trash:

I don't know. The Fallout reddit is in a civil war over this game. I think this game is going to flop. The PvP element is going to be a disaster for players wanting to explore and players that just want to focus on building settlements.

I also don't see how modding is going to work unless they give us dedicated servers strictly for modding. Because that is just going to allow people to cheat and do more griefing to other players. They will definitely need dedicated servers to ward against potential hackers.

This shyt with Fallout is starting to anger me like MGS started to after part 3. What is all this trash that I see about this? Is it because Elder Scrolls online is making them a ton of money and trying to get the fallout fanbase to embrace an online only game?

Fallout is the definition of a "loner" game. You get to the world and explore it as you see fit.

Pre-ordered the Fallout 76 PipBoy 2000 today. (I have a slight hobby of collecting Fallout related display items, will look nice in the basement)

But as for the game? Nah. Gonna wait this one out for now. I did not just custom build my computer this past March with this EVGA 1080Ti card in it to play a Fallout game WITH NO MODS.

My only fear is that this will be single player like how Destiny is “single player”


While you technically can play it by yourself. You’ll need other people to accomplish a lot of it

How was the base building in 4? I never played it. Didn't hear good things.

I'm not really feeling that part. I was all the way in until they said that.

Base building served no purpose except for diehards to show off online with their unlimited scraps cheats. You could survive on hard with justa few turrets

And assisted targeting, quest tracking, and radio capabilities, and switching weapons, switching armor, applying buffs and health... totally useless

PipBoys in canon were developed pre-war. But I mean it makes no sense to apply realism to fukkin Fallout :mjlol: You drawing the line at PipBoys?

This nikka expects a retro sci fi dystopian rpg to be grounded in reality. Lmao.
