I'm still chillin in Stationary, got murked at the police station so now I'm chillin.
Hoping I can get better guns at the station.
I can't found power cores for shyt. Been upgrading armor, weapons, etc.
Trying to create torrents at Stationary too but I can't find circuits either. I did build a mansion with a fence around the entire build area at stationary though... Then reinforced it with another fence.

I hate settlement building. Is it absolutely necessary?

No, but I'm starting to like it.
No. It does have it's perks, but completely optional. Plus, ignoring it that solves your other problem ... you can neglect picking up all that junk that would otherwise go to building cities.
no problem, no offense taken. I use the nexus mod manager. Its been a minute since I've used it.. I installed it that way. My character lips doesnt move nor do the Npcs so I assume its a graphic mod immerisve lips mod but I deleted all the mods and the problem still persists
settlement building is fun. Your complaints of picking up everything is negated since you don't do settlement building so all that whining about carry limits was for nay

Weight limit increase is still needed
It runs well most of the time. Just turn down God-rays
It's ight. The main two settings to turn down as of now until a patch is out is:
Shadow Distance(Put this on medium)
Shadow quality(Medium)
God Rays(low)
Everything else can be set to high/ultra depending on what the launcher sets it to automatically.
Most of the time I don't pick up armor because they are usually too heavy relative to their value at shops, and I've stocked up plenty of leather, steel and cloth so have no need to scrap them.
Weapons are good to pick up because they're either worth at least 10 caps per pound, or they might have some mod attached that I want, but don't have a high enough level in Gun Nut or w/e.
I need my money, so I pick it all up. Trying to buy better guns at shops, since I can't seem to find anything good (at least not yet). I've only explored the top of the map. My best gun is like a lazer rifle, but it keeps running out of ammo, so I can'[t use it much
