This is a good mod. I hated how opaque the power armor hud was when I jumped into it.

Gonna install this shyt.

After the first 20+ hours of game time in, this game is really good at being wide open and customizable. I think I've spent more time working on my armor, gun loadouts, and organizing my loot than actually doing missions. The glorious Fallout hoarding experience :blessed:

I think the only fair and unarguable criticism thus far is how shallow the dialog depth is ... everything else is basically personal preference and you can play the game how you want it to be. E.g. the hardcore RPG nerds saying there's too much FPS, they can go ahead and pump their agility and live in VATS all day.

I've been running around like a Chiraq drilla waiting for DJ Akademiks to report on me when they dropped a 10mm advanced receiver around Level15. I didn't even have the gun nut perks and dismantled all the other 10mm to make Lil Reesey here.

Raiders, Ghouls, Mutants, Synths were all gettin' that action.

But then I decided to do the Freedom Trail mission set ... don't click this spoiler if you ain't done it yet ...

Then they hit you off with this James Bond 007 shyt :wow:

I immediately ranked the Gun Nut perks to max it out and this thing is a BEAST. With 16+ Vats clicks from the AP bonus/Fire Rate and most normal enemies only needing one to two shots, you can clear a room of 7 low levels in one VATS ... this thing even takes out legendaries including their mutations.

This game is so piff and we haven't even gotten that many mods or the DLC yet.

Hardest fight so far was the Queen Bug. fukking acid takes out 40% of your health :damn:

I struggled through that fight only to find out after I beat him there was a flame thrower sitting on the table :snoop: Them damn baby bugs annoyed the shyt out of me

Just accumulated over 5k caps...since I'm so far ahead of the story line (level 23 on only the 4th mission :bryan:) I have nothing to spend it on. Gonna continue hoarding for now.

If anybody could tell me how to receive my profit from the settlements that'll be great though

Is ammo more scarce in Survivor difficulty because I'm constantly low on ammo and find myself having to use other calibers than my main 10mm?

And I come in here and see some cat with near 7000 bullets for their .45 and I'm like :dahell:

To the people who die often, is this your first fallout game? I remember so many people telling me that they kept dying in Fallout 3 and I couldn't believe it. Do you even strategically go into battles? If you are dealing with multiple enemies this is how I try to take them out...It's all about crippling the limbs as quickly as possible to slow them down and go ham with melee weapons.

One on One with a strong weapon, cripple the arm with the gun. Then go off on them with Melee attacks

One on One vs a Deathclaw and you don't have much resources? Do whatever you have to do to cripple the legs, then run around and melee with the strongest melee weapon you have if you have enough stimpacks/food to heal. If you don't, then take it out with your WEAKEST weapon as they shouldn't be able to catch you with crippled legs. You might need to use grenades to cripple the legs quickly depending on your situation.

One vs Multiple, Grenades become a huge factor here and timing is important. Number one thing is to cripple the arms that have the guns.

Ghouls were never that difficult to me. The glowing ones are a bit tough if they have friends around, but can easily be taken care of by crippling the legs first.

Those mutants can be tough if they roll deep, but again...just make sure you get that weapon out of their hands and then go to work.

Behemoths = NUKE

Radscorpions, Ants, and those flying bees (whatever the fukk they were called) these motherfukkers are a pain in the ass man. They are fast as shyt and they usually roll 2-3 deep...once they hit you with that fire it might be a wrap. Think if it is worth it to take them out given your experience level. If it IS worth it, then grenades might be necessary in your current situation. Those fukkers that spit fire at you are tough as shyt to battle in a pack if you are low on Ammo. These are the toughest ones to deal with with a melee weapon. Those flying insects that hit you with that POISON are :merchant:, you better be PREPARED if you want to take them out.

I only died a few times in Fallout 3 and NV with these strategies, the game is pretty simple to me. I like the exploration of it all more than anything. I can't wait till tomorrow :ahh:

You on survival mode tho? :dame:
